Sororities celebrate scholastics, donate decorations

College Panhellenic Association, made up of the Phi Sigma Sigma, Sigma Kappa and Iota Delta sororities, held a scholarship reception. Senior Makenzie DiPietro served as CPA scholarship chair. The reception is held every semester to recognize the accomplishments of members from the sororities, as well as University faculty. After the awards were given, Allison Evans, Jessica Hunter, Stephanie Setmire, Emily Hunter, Seline Montoya, Giselle Matus, Veronica Ramirez, DiPietro and Maria Sandoval sat down to make Christmas decorations. The decorations are to be donated to retirement homes in the local area. The event took place Friday, Dec. 4, at 6 p.m. in the President's Dining Room. / photo by Alen Zilic
