Monday morning at 7:30 a.m., the six University of La Verne fraternities and sororities kicked off Greek Week by displaying their letters at various places on campus only to have them burned, stolen and reararranged during the next night.
The University of La Verne women's and men's cross country teams competed in a tough SCIAC conference championship meet Saturday, coming up fourth place for the women, while the men placed seventh.
The third annual Halloween Bash, sponsored by Phi Delta Theta and co-sponsored by Iota Delta and the Latino Student Forum, was held at Griswold's in the Claremont Inn Tuesday. Phi Delta Theta estimated that 350 people attended the party.
Students at the University of La Verne are once again filing complaints against Campus Link, claiming they again have been billed falsely by the campus phone company.
Informing transfer students of the services available was the main objective of the Career Development Center's Transfer Student Open House which was held last Friday, Sept. 20.
