Time flies when you are having fun

I spent a lot of time pondering what I would write about for my last Campus Times column.

The diagnosis is in

I have not been feeling well lately. I struggle to get out of the bed in the mornings. I fight to keep my eyes open during lectures. I have been plagued with a wicked stomach ache when I realize that I have to go to class in the mornings. I don't think that it is SARS or the flu or anything like that. It is worse.

Fear works

I am scared of the dark. I sleep with a night light; my heart races when I walk to my car at 2 a.m. alone leaving from someplace, and I am not afraid to admit that I feel safer when I have double checked the lock on my door 15 times before finally retiring into bed.

My cups runneth over

I realized that I was different at an early age. I believe that it was the fourth grade when I discovered this.

Powell’s speech is persuasive

On Nov. 8, 2002, the United Nations passed Resolution 1441 by a unanimous vote. Its purpose was to disarm Iraq of its weapons of mass destruction.

Reluctantly moving on

There comes a time in every person's life when they reflect. Lately I have been doing a lot of that. With half of my senior year nearly over, I am starting to realize that the idea of commencement is frightening.
