Amp Radio filled the Hollywood Bowl with 18,000 people for its third annual We Can Survive concert Saturday. However, the focus of the night was not on raising funds to cure breast cancer, but on who the special guest performer would be.
Kevin Schatz, on-air talent at 97.1 AMP Radio in Los Angeles, stopped by our studio to talk about his journey from L.V. to L.A., the changing radio industry and his notorious mustache.
The pitch black sky above the Hollywood Bowl was illuminated by green, purple and pink glow sticks. Screams from approximately 18,000 adoring fans pierced the night.
