Several Art students from the University of La Verne found their work on display at the California State Capitol last month as part of the Association of Independent California Colleges and Universities fourth annual Student Art Show.

The Harris Art Gallery turned into a student gallery this week for senior art majors to display their projects to the public in the Senior Art Thesis Exhibition.

This morning I stood in the middle of the Harris Gallery and felt a sense of accomplishment as I looked at the Senior Thesis Art Exhibition that lined the walls around me.

Caroline Burghardt’s exhibit “Cape Twilight,” which continues through Oct. 10 in the Irene Carlson Gallery in Miller Hall, features photographs from her summers spent in Cape Cod.

The American Red Cross conducted a blood drive on Wednesday which included the launch of the 56 Days Club.

Jill Daves, a Los Angeles-based artist, utilized the texture of the walls to create the latest exhibit at the Tall Wall Space, “Divots and Bumps.”
