It’s that time of the year again. The school year is coming to an end. While most students are counting the days until the last day of class, something else is on my mind. Regret.

It’s funny how many people obsess over their zodiac signs. Practically everyone knows what sign they are; even if they don’t believe in astrology, they can still tell whether they are a Gemini, Taurus, and so on.

I do find it appalling that the only coverage our paper gives to the highly controversial topic of immigration is assigned to a patrician writer who chooses to focus on a negative aspect of the HR 4437 issue.

Finally, high school students became passionate about something – the immigration bill currently in Congress – so much so that they held walk outs and protests. But what was their real reason behind walking out? It is either they didn’t want to go to school, or they honestly felt that passionate about the immigration bill.

Comedy Central decided not to air a controversial episode of “South Park” on March 15 that depicted Scientology leaders acclaiming the Stan character as a savior. That same week Isaac Hayes, who provided the voice for the Chef character, left the show.

Music is an art. While anyone can learn how to play an instrument or hum to a melody, it takes a special something to create a piece of music that will cause the listener to take a minute and reflect. This type of music is a rare occurrence lately, with the artists imitating older songs.
