As student enrollment throughout the nation continues to steadily climb, and is expected to continue for the next 10-15 years, officials at the University of La Verne, concerned with ensuring the continuity of the school, presented a list of potential growth options at the Board of Trustees meeting on Nov. 4.
Convening at the Pala Mesa Resort in Fallbrook, Calif., the University of La Verne’s Board of Trustees voted on Sunday in favor of a 3 percent increase in tuition, as well as a 3 percent increase in board services for the 1996-97 school year.
In an address to the University of La Verne community at the Town Meeting in October, President Stephen Morgan presented various options for University expansion.
