The smell of chlorine in the air. The sun glistening off the new pool. The sweetness of setting records. It almost makes one want to get their feet wet. These are all of what the University La Verne men's and women's swimming and diving teams experienced in last Saturday's meet at Cal State Northridge.
The City of La Verne is about 20 or 30 miles from the shores of Huntington Beach. These two cities, however, have similar occurrences. At the beach, there is a high and a low tide, and at the University of La Verne, there is a high and a low tide for the men's volleyball team.
To write another editorial about food services at La Verne may seem unfair. It may seem counterproductive. It may, most of all, seem repetitive. But it is necessary.
