The University of La Verne College of Law and Public Service achieved a 66% bar exam passing rate, the highest in recent history. The students’ success was celebrated with a swearing-in ceremony on Dec. 1 at the College of Law campus in Ontario.
This year the La Verne College of Law students who took the California Bar Exam for the first time had a pass rate of 73 percent, which is expected to be above the state average first time Bar passage rate for 2014.
The University of La Verne College of Law had a successful showing in the General Bar Examination, as 85 percent of the graduates who took it for the first time in July passed.
