Not every Californian knows what to do if an emergency strikes. Thanks to certain student organizations, faculty and emergency services, the University of La Verne community devised a plan for everyone to stay safe.
Approximately 30 people hoping to better understand how to handle emergency situations attended the Community Emergency Response Team course April 7 in the President’s Dining Room.
The University of La Verne safety committee is bringing free community emergency response team training classes to ULV students and employees, city of La Verne employees and La Verne residents starting in April 2016.
