With not much opportunity for an exciting college nightlife amid the sea of antique stores in downtown La Verne, students at the University have found ways to spice up their college years and fill their pocketbooks through racy employment.
The University of La Verne men’s tennis team finished up its season last weekend in Redlands at the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference tournament ranked seventh place overall.
One would think that with the combined athleticism and accomplishments of this dynamic duo on the tennis courts, they have received many awards and recognition, but that is not the case.
In recent non-conference action, the University of La Verne men’s tennis team came away on the short end of things, losing a heartbreaker to Occidental College, 4-3, Saturday at the Nancy Blickenstaff Tennis Pavilion in La Verne.
