The University of La Verne men’s soccer team finished its 2004 Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference season with a 1-0 loss to Claremont-Mudd-Scripps on Wednesday.
Halfway through the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference season, the University of La Verne men’s soccer team comes out 3-4 after defeating Whittier College, 4-0, on Oct. 6 and losing to Claremont-Mudd-Scripps, 2-0, on Saturday.
The University of La Verne men’s soccer team came up early in its game Wednesday night and kept Occidental College from recovering, defeating the Tigers, 1-0, at Ben Hines Field.
The University of La Verne men’s soccer team (1-1-2) defeated Chapman 2-0 on Sept. 11 to earn a historic first season win. The home field victory against Chapman (1-2) was the first in school history. The accomplishment proved even greater to the Leopards having been defeated by the Panthers 9-0 last season.
Intramural soccer came to an exciting end with a victory by Chet’s team over Chi Delta Omicron to take home the Intramural Soccer Championship with a 7-6 victory April 15 in the Old Gym.
With the season coming to a close, and the playoffs looming in the weeks ahead, each and every game is of the highest importance, and the University of La Verne men's soccer team is up to the challenge.
