University of La Verne communications students won numerous prestigious awards recently from the Society of Professional Journalists and the Columbia Scholastic Press Association.
ULV communication students cleaned up at the California Intercollegiate Press Association contest for work produced during the 2002-2003 year. The University's newspaper, magazine, and radio and television stations all won the sweepstakes in their respective categories, making them each the most decorated publications and stations in the state in their respective categories.
The Campus Times was honored Saturday as the second best college newspaper and best college news Web site, based on the Times' overall content and production quality, by the Society of Professional Journalists' Inland Pro chapter, at its annual awards banquet in Ontario.
