Campus Times alum remembered for humor
Brian Velez, who graduated from the University of La Verne in 2013 with a degree in communications-public affairs, died Sept. 27 at age 33 due to an undiagnosed illness.

Junior journalism major Christian Orozco will take over as the new editor in chief of the Campus Times for the spring 2013 semester, and senior journalism major Alex Forbess will serve as the editor in chief for La Verne Magazine in spring.
