Okay, I know it's March, and summer is still a midterm and a final away. But if you have any interest in taking in some live entertainment come June, it's time to get yourself in gear.

As a reader of the Campus Times, I often read Amanda Stutevoss' columns and am always refreshed to read her usual introspective spin on things in such a biased newspaper.

When Christina Aguilera first appeared on the pop scene three years ago, many critics referred to her as "the new Mariah Carey." While Aguilera does have an extraordinary range, she is nowhere near being another Whitney Houston, let alone another Mariah Carey.

Christina, Britney, Jennifer Love and J. Lo. They sound relatively the same, they dress somewhat the same and they all represent the sexier side of the music industry.
