After a long, difficult match, the La Verne women’s tennis team was defeated Monday by Sewanee, a team from Tennessee, with a final score of 8-1, giving the Leopards an overall record of 3-8.

The La Verne’s women’s tennis team clinched two victories last weekend in their matches against Whittier and Cal Lutheran, giving the Leopards a 3-0 conference record.
Women’s tennis tops Caltech, 5-4
In their last home match of the season the women’s tennis team beat Caltech, 5-4 on April 15 to finish the conference in fifth place.
