Administrators address racism charge

Faculty members and the human resources department are holding an ongoing investigation into allegations of unfair searches and unnecessarily heightened security at a Brothers’ Forum and Omega Psi Phi fraternity sponsored dance on campus Sept. 15.

Dewey named permanent provost; national search bypassed

President Steve Morgan sent out an e-mail to faculty announcing that, with the endorsement of the Board of Trustees, he had decided to removed the word “interim” from Provost Greg Dewey’s title on Nov. 23.

Diversity plan proposed

The University’s Working Group on Diversity has proposed a strategic plan for diversity among faculty, staff and students to support the diverse student body, improve climate and foster research on diversity issues.
