The Leopards and the Sagehens played two completely different games during Saturday’s doubleheader. La Verne came out on top 6-1 in the first game, but Pomona-Pitzer came back and defeated the Leopards 15-4 in the second.
The baseball team split a Saturday afternoon doubleheader against Chapman at Mazmanian Field of Mt. San Antonio College, losing 11-3 in the first game before taking the second, 4-1.
