The Master of Business Administration (MBA) program from the University of La Verne's School of Business and Global Studies, marked its first cluster of students to the new Singapore extension this past March.

Recognition for years of service to the University of La Verne ranging from five to 51 was made to staff and faculty at the Annual Faculty and Staff Service Awards ceremony Wednesday.

Four University of La Verne faculty members will be granted tenure this fall semester. They are Dr. Glenn Gamst, associate professor of psychology; Dr. Dorena Wright, associate professor of English; Dr. David Kung, associate professor of business administration; and Dr. Kent Badger, associate professor of health services management.

Due to the emphasis of the business degree programs taught, the University of La Verne has changed the name of the School of Business and Economics to the School of Business and Global Studies.
