In a battle of winless teams trying to fight their way out of the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference cellar, Whittier College used a five-play, 93-yard drive with 2:35 remaining for the winning score to hand the Leopards their seventh consecutive loss, 21-14, Saturday afternoon at Ortmayer Stadium.
Festival gives GMMI interns stage
A Community Marketplace and Fiesta was held Saturday in Old Town La Verne, where the University of La Verne General Motors Marketing Internship (GMMI) class presented the Crestview Cadillac Catera.
