Bill Gates stresses giving in Claremont talk
Bill Gates led a question-and-answer session on March 10 in Bridges Auditorium in Claremont in front of students from Pomona College and Harvey Mudd College. Gates spoke little about Microsoft and instead focused more on the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, healthcare, agriculture and his other philanthropic ventures.
Students rally against racism
Dressed in black and chanting slogans of unity, more than 2,000 students and faculty from the five Claremont colleges converged Wednesday night in a rally to protest an apparent hate crime at the campus Tuesday.
