The University of La Verne has just received its largest donation in University history. Last month, AltaMed Health Services Corporation gifted the University $15 million to construct the newest facility for the College of Health and Community Well-Being in Ontario.
The University of La Verne received a $2 million donation from regional real estate developer and philanthropist Randall Lewis for the establishment of the Randall Lewis Center for Entrepreneurship, Innovation, and Social Impact, which will focus on economic development and opportunities for ULV and the surrounding communities.
The University of La Verne College of Law received an endowment from University trustee Frank Lizarraga Jr., who is also an alumnus and chair of the advisory board at the College of Law, University officials announced recently.
Over the next 10 years, 50 students who have been homeless or have gone through the foster care system will receive scholarships to attend the University of La Verne.
The College of Education and Organizational Leadership opened this fall under a new moniker – the La Fetra College of Education – following the largest monetary gift in University of La Verne history.
