The University of La Verne celebrated Earth Week this week, a series of environmentally conscious events including the grand opening of the new University garden. As part of the week-long celebration of Earth Day the Associated Students of the University of La Verne held a book drive for students and faculty to donate used and new books Tuesday in Sneaky Park.
Students, faculty and administrators – including President Devorah Lieberman and Vice President for Facilities and Technology Clive Houston-Brown – gathered behind the Health Center for the grand opening ceremony of the University garden during the Earth Day festivities Wednesday.
The University of La Verne's Associated Student Federation (ASF) Forum met in the West Dining Room Wednesday, April 14, at 8:35 a.m. Forum members updated plans for future student activities and reviewed plans for Earth Week.
