For 104 years, the University of La Verne has relied on its traditions to keep the college community together. Rituals such as painting the Rock, not stepping on the seal and square dancing at orientation camp are fun, but they have a deeper meaning. These small traditions, so important to University life, have helped students and faculty form a bond that will remain unbroken long after graduation.
