The Campus Times reached a milestone this week – 100 years of serving as a watchdog for not only the University of La Verne but also our local community. Through obstacles, brief hiatuses and award-winning highlights, the paper has established a legacy. And it is a staple of the community. 

The University’s Leos PR club hosted a panel event, “Leos to Leaders,” that provided students with the opportunity to meet successful La Verne graduates.

The University is in the process of hiring a chief diversity and inclusivity officer, a newly-created position here, whose charge will be to address a range of diversity and inclusivity issues that arise on such a diverse campus.

As a professor of photography, Gary Colby has channeled his passion for photography into the department as the enrollment jumps beyond what was originally expected.

The Brothers Forum held its end-of-the-year banquet Saturday to commemorate the club’s achievements throughout the year. The event, titled “Three Generations,” brought together alumni, current student members of the Brother’s Forum and prospective students.

Carlos Cervantes is the new associate dean of academic support and retention, a position that was open for a year after Eric Bishop left.
