The University of La Verne track team has done it again. Leaving Occidental open-mouthed, the Leopards’ performance at the May 10 invitational resulted in record-breaking times.
The cheetah; it earned the title of the fastest animal on the planet. The University of La Verne’s 4x100m relay team; it earned the title of the fastest Division III 4x100m relay team in the nation. These guys are Leopards not cheetahs, but on the track, nobody does it faster.
The University of La Verne sent six representatives of the track team to the California/Nevada State meet held at the University of California at Davis last weekend.
At the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) quad meet hosted by the University of La Verne last Saturday, a number of school records were broken and several Leopards qualified for nationals.
