The University of La Verne African American Student Alliance held its third annual fashion show last Friday at the Claremont Inn.
Senior Jamila Anderson participated as a model in “Dress for Success,” an event showcasing business attire clothing held Monday night at Steinmart on Foothill Boulevard.
From traditional African garb to hip-hop wear, this unique and trendy fashion was modeled in the first “Soul Sensation Fashion Show,” presented by the African American Student Alliance. Since December, members of AASA have been planning this anticipated event.
