First victory is big win for football, as Leopards dominate in Pomona game
Coming off of a hard loss against Occidental, the La Verne Leopards were still trying to shake the monkey off their back.

Determined to get the winless monkey off their back, the University of La Verne’s football team headed to Pasadena to face Occidental last Saturday, but due to numerous turnovers, the Leopards headed home with a 29-23 loss.

After trailing the Chapman Panthers for the majority of the game, the University of La Verne Leopards were poised to tie the score with only minutes left in the fourth quarter. But, a failed extra-point attempt by Flynn Turner left the Leopards one point short and all out of steam.
Football takes Kingsmen to guillotine, 47-18
After three disappointing losses over the past three weeks, the University of La Verne’s football team traveled to Cal Lutheran University for the Kingsmen’s Homecoming looking to redeem itself. With a 47-18 victory, the Leopards did just that, jumping on the Kingsmen early and often.
