A memorial service was held Jan. 26 in honor of Dr. George Arnold, former chairman of the Department of Physics and Mathematics, who lost his battle with pancreatic cancer Jan.16.
Expected to be one of the largest graduation ceremonies in University of La Verne history, over 2,100 students will take part in Commencement ceremonies on Sunday, May 28 in Ortmayer Stadium.
Dr. George Arnold, physics professor and chair of the Mathematics/Physics/Computer Science Department, will make the transition to working part time next semester.
