I recently gave up MySpace for Lent. I recently got sucked into the iPod scene thanks to my new nano. I just read an article in the New York Times about a woman who shopped for her sperm donor on the Internet and is now happily pregnant without the need of a relationship or husband. What do these three things have in common?

I must confess that I have been partaking in a sordid, tumultuous affair for the past year and a half. It’s followed that typical pattern–love at first sight, followed by months of high peaks and low valleys. I probably should just walk away from all trouble it has caused me, but I cannot resist. It’s a love I will always have–a love for my iPod.

With stars like Paris Hilton and Lindsey Lohan racing around town with cell phones and iPods connected to their ears, it is obvious that trends in these areas have multiplied tenfold.

Duke University and Apple Computer, Inc. implemented iPods into the school’s classroom and campus settings. This introduction to the use of technology in higher education intrigued many professors and students at the University of La Verne.

Want to be hip and up to speed with the latest technology? Well do not go out and buy a walkman, buy an iPod.
