While many University of La Verne students occupied themselves with part-time jobs and classes this summer, senior theater major Erik Johnson spent two and a half weeks in Split, Croatia at the national theater festival.

Seniors recognized for leadership

In recognition of outstanding campus leadership, the 1996 edition of Who's Who Among Students In American Universities And Colleges will include 28 seniors from the University of La Verne who have been chosen to be in a book along with students from 1,800 other institutions of higher learning in the United States.

Pair discovers world of directing

Inspired to give University of La Verne students a look at feminism and other diverse issues, senior Isela Griffith and junior Stacey Williams are directing two separate plays that will be performed later this month in the Cabaret Theatre as part of a directing studio class.

Singers return for concert

After a week of touring central California, the University of La Verne Chamber Singers returned for a homecoming concert at the Holy Name of Mary Parish in San Dimas Tuesday night.
