ULV students ho`oku`i for a lu’au
Students and faculty members were greeted with colorful leis and invited to sit down, dine on Hawaiian cuisine and soak up the light and breezy island atmosphere at the annual lu’au held by Kanaka Hui Ohana, the University of La Verne’s Hawaiian club, on May 12 in the University Mall.
Track breaks records
The University of La Verne men’s and women’s track teams competed in the Aztec Invitational at San Diego State on Saturday Mar. 19, while the long distance runners for the men competed at the Occidental Distance Classic in Eagle Rock, Mar. 18.
Track starts on right foot
The University of La Verne men and women track teams kicked off their season with top performances in the Caltech All-Comers Meet in Pasadena on Saturday.
