In an effort to begin bridging the gap between the United States and Japan a lecture was presented by Takeo Takuma, vice president of the United States-Japan Foundation Monday, April 7, in La Fetra Auditorium.
A parade of nations occupied the University Mall as the Fifth Annual International Celebration occurred Tuesday. Consisting of booths, food and a multi-cultural talent show, it showcased the various cultural backgrounds of La Verne’s international students.
Yasuyuki Nagasawa, known simply as Yasu in the University of La Verne community, plans on graduating this spring. After three years at ULV, the senior art major will finally get his degree.
