It was a day to remember for the University of La Verne’s track team as it strutted its stuff at Saturday’s SCIAC Championship meet at Occidental College.

At the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) quad meet hosted by the University of La Verne last Saturday, a number of school records were broken and several Leopards qualified for nationals.

Track season off to a good start
With new runners, two new coaches and a new season, the Leopard track team tested its talent at the Caltech Invitational Saturday, Feb. 24, in Pasadena.
