Chi Delta Omicron gains official Greek status
Chi Delta Omicron is now officially a fraternity at the University of La Verne and has been recognized as such for about a month. It has five official members who comprise the executive board of their fraternity and they are expecting to gain more members this spring.
Football written off by Poets, 20-17
The fumble came on the Whittier 38-yard line. The University of La Verne football team had had a difficult time all night holding on to the ball. On the most pivotal play in the game, it set the Poets up for the 60-yard pass that gave them the lead and the win, 20-17, in the season-closing game the Leopards led from the beginning.
Leopards lose catfight to Cougars
In a season in which most of its games have come down to the wire, the University of La Verne football team has seemingly had as many lives as a cat.
