Emily J. Sullivan, Class of 2020 journalism alumna and mother of the world’s most bubbly twins, has been making a name for herself in the world of journalism, with bylines in publications including The New York Times, Cosmopolitan, Los Angeles, The Hollywood Reporter, and more.

The Los Angeles Times published an apology Sept. 27 for its failures in accurately covering issues of racial disparity and its own history of racism within the organization, showcasing the need to have diversity in the newsroom.
