For some students at the University of La Verne, the beach is too far to travel out to on weekends, so Davenport Dining Services decided to bring the beach to them on Saturday afternoon by bringing in sand, a doughboy pool, and setting up volleyball nets in Sneaky Park.
Next year, the University of La Verne campus will be affected by two major changes in dining services that are designed to extend dining services to students.
Many students may notice that the Spot has had another face-lift. Over interterm renovations were made to incorporate a different atmosphere and make it more accessible for workers.
In the past, University of La Verne's clubs and organizations have been able to put together programs outside and feed the people that participate with food catered by Davenport.
In response to the article "Broken machine brings Spot woes" [Oct. 27] I would like to say that some ULV students do not understand that Aramark Food Corporation is a business and should not be responsible for managing the finances of ULV students.
