“Our defense is going to be our offense,” were the words of Jennifer Manfredi, assistant coach of the women’s basketball team, in describing the team’s game plan for the new season.
The women’s basketball team (11-8, 5-3) has had to experience the joy of victory and the agony of defeat in their last two games. Despite a 25 point effort by junior Leslee Rogers and a 15 point effort by senior Rachell Auld the Leopards lost to Claremont-McKenna-Scripps (17-3,6-1) 72-68 on Tuesday.
