Among the changes prompted by the University’s historically high 2,500-student enrollment this semester, students returned to find classes held unusual places – often in classrooms far from departments’ home bases.

The Faculty and Staff Recognition Ceremony was hosted by Associate Dean of Student Affairs Ruby Montano-Cordova with a cheer. The ceremony recognize faculty for time served, promotion and tenure, and recognized academic research.

Unlike public schools and other universities around the country, the University of La Verne was not “closed” for Veterans Day this past Tuesday. Universities are a business, and, as a business, it is in the school’s best interest to have every seat in every available class filled every semester.
