Nov 9, 2016, marked a turning point in American history with the election of Donald Trump as president.

Michael Moore, the directive voice for all things political, makes his case for ridding our capitalistic society and returning our nation to its democratic roots in his new documentary, “Capitalism: A Love Story.”

It doesn’t matter what your politics are. I couldn’t care less if you’re a Republican, Democrat or Libertarian. No, what matters to me is that anyone can get sick. Anyone, regardless of race, economic status or gender, can get sick.

Movies opening this summer promise excitement, blockbuster special effects and new installments of many fan favorites like “Spiderman 3” and “Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.”

In a more intimate setting than the University of La Verne College Republicans would have liked, about 20 students and faculty members watched the screening of “Confronting Iraq,” a movie written and co-produced by Roger Aronoff.

Wow. Time flies so quickly, and here we are again. Oh, how I missed you.
