During an informal survey, students were asked whether they prefer House of Wings or Lordsburg Taphouse – both popular restaurants in downtown La Verne.
A plot that used to only have rotting playground equipment now provides thousands of pounds of fresh produce annually through the La Verne Church of the Brethren’s Peace and Carrots community garden project.
The Campus Activity Board brought the Magical World of Disney to La Verne’s Club Fair on Aug. 28 as part of welcome week for new students. The club fair lasted from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and provided free food for all students and commuters from Davenport Dining Hall.
After a three-month break, the sights, sounds and smells of La Verne’s farmers market returned to the streets of downtown La Verne on March 7 and was in full swing last Thursday.
