With the most wins since the 1987 season, the University of La Verne men’s soccer team capped its season finishing second in conference with a record of 9-2-3 and an overall record of 11-5-3.
She is competitive, aggressive, confident and humble. All of these are freshman forward Rebecca Berry. These traits are what every soccer player strives to be. However, there may be one trait besides these that makes Berry unique and puts her over the top of her competition.
In a pair of games dominated by defense, the University of La Verne women’s soccer team fell to the Redlands Bulldogs, 2-1, Wednesday night in Redlands and tied the Pomona-Pitzer Sagehens, 0-0, last Saturday afternoon in La Verne.
The University of La Verne women’s soccer team finished the season on a good note defeating visiting Claremont-Mudd-Scripps, 2-1, Wednesday at Ben Hines Field.
