People making $250,000 or less per year may face a tax increase after the 2018 budget was approved by the U.S. House Oct. 19 with all Republican and no Democratic votes.

Since President Donald Trump has come into office, one of his main objectives has been to repeal and replace Obamacare, or the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010.

President Obama has not even been sworn in for a second term and already the people of the United States are throwing a temper tantrum. While most people take to the internet to bash and complain, a couple of our fellow “Americans” have taken to the site petitions.whitehouse.gov in an attempt to say “I quit” and secede from the United States.

After going through the reform process, it still seems like an initial step to improve the American health care system; a first step in the direction of universal health care, something that many feel is the only moral ends to reform.
