Pappas Artisanal restaurant on D Street has regained its “A” rating from the Los Angeles County Environmental Health department, after a temporary closure for violations last month.
The Black Student Union and members of the Spoken Word poetry team hosted the “Lift Every Voice” open mic night Feb. 3 at Pappas Artisanal in downtown La Verne.
The smell of food lingered, while soft and elegant music played, as guests roamed around with lights dangling from the ceiling at the La Verne Chamber of Commerce’s annual Taste of La Verne event, where food and wine were the art of the show.
More than 50 people gathered around the patio of Coffeeberry in Downtown La Verne and danced, with wine glasses in hand, as Club 57 Band performed Saturday during the “Sip of La Verne” wine walk.
