The University’s Passover Seder dinner was held on Wednesday. in the Quay Davis Boardroom, hosted by the Office of Religious and Spiritual Life and led by Cantor Paul Buch from Temple Beth Israel in Pomona.
Tikkun Olam International hosted a service and “Sleepover Under the Stars” in honor of the Jewish holiday of Sukkot outside the Ludwick Center on Oct. 7.
After a two-year absence, the University of La Verne once again held its annual Passover Seder on Wednesday, hosted by the Office of Spiritual and Religious Life and Hillel, a Jewish club on campus.
About 45 community members showed up live and via Zoom for the screening of “Mission: Joy - Finding Happiness in Troubled Times,” a movie about the Dalai Lama and his unlikely friendship with Desmond Tutu, Tuesday in the Ludwick Center.
