With beautiful dresses, ties, dress slacks and crowns, seniors Adrian Ferrera and Felirose Tamparong were crowned Homecoming king and queen before an excited crowd at the football game Saturday during halftime at Ortmayer Stadium.

Homecoming is here once more, and the University of La Verne’s Associated Student Federation Forum has planned a week of festivities chock full of pageantry, celebration and good old fashioned fun.

A packed Founders Auditorium was the scene of the University of La Verne dance team’s Spring Show held April 29. Fifteen quality acts, ranging from hip-hop style dancing to guitar sing-a-longs, thrilled the audience, who were frequently moved to clap, cheer and sing along with the performers.

With football season coming to a close, the University of La Verne's dance team is back ­ after a year's absence ­ working hard on its Homecoming dance performance, which was held during half time.
