University of La Verne’s Growing with Diversity committee awarded Joanna Acentares as the winner of the first student diversity paper competition on Tuesday.
Approximately 50 students and faculty squeezed into the West Dining Room Thursday, Oct. 21 for Assistant Professor of Public Administration Matthew Witt's presentation, “Ground Zero Democracy: Race, Allegory and the Capitol Mall.”

Even though last Saturday's relay invitational did not count a great deal on paper, the University of La Verne track and field team handled the meet as if it was a conference tie-breaker.
