Just when it looked as if the men’s soccer team was left out at sea without a paddle, they put together an impressive three-game win streak, outscoring their opponents 12-0. Their wins came at the expense of Occidental, Christian Heritage and Cal Tech. Unfortunately, last Saturday at Cal Lutheran, they encountered rough waters, losing to the Kingsmen, 6-0.
“La Verne: In the Days of Olde” has been selected as the theme for Homecoming ‘94 at the University of La Verne. Upcoming activities are sure to get minds off of midterms and raise the spirits of the ULV community.

After collecting its first Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) win of the season last Friday night, the women’s volleyball team lost Saturday night against the University of Redlands in five games, 11-15, 15-13, 16-14, 12-15 and 10-15.
The ULV men’s soccer team faces Claremont tomorrow on Ben Hines Field, trying to recuperate from the losing streak that plagued them this week against Pomona-Pitzer, Cal Baptist and Redlands.
