In a game that was close to being cancelled due to local fires, rushing was the name of the game, as Azusa Pacific University easily handed the Leopards their sixth straight loss behind 163 yards rushing and four touchdowns from tailback Ben Buys as well as defensive domination for the 42-0 shutout in front of 3,100 fans at Cougar Stadium, Saturday night.

Looking for their first victory of the year, the Leopards played with all their hearts but could not overcome 24 first-half points by Claremont-Mudd-Scripps as well as a crucial non-score late in the game en route to their fourth straight loss, 31-17, Saturday afternoon at Ortmayer Stadium.
