The cover spread on this month’s issue of Rolling Stone is quite impressive indeed. Certified rock legends stand side by side, glaring stoically at the photographer, a large American flag sprawled behind them.
This column is about absolutely nothing. If Jerry Seinfeld can carry an entire show based upon this idea, then I figure I can wing it for a week and fool you into thinking that I have some grand concept.
This week, there are two items I want to address, both from the Oct. 17 issue of Rolling Stone.
“Rock is Back!” screams the headline on the cover of the Sept. 19 Rolling Stone. Behind the text, Vines frontman Craig Nicholls has his face contorted into a sneer that seems to indicate, “I’m about to throw up.” And I know just how he feels.
